Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOP&S)
EOP&S and its supplemental programs (CARE, CAFYES and STARS) are dedicated to supporting and encouraging PCC students students who have experienced economic and educational hardships. Services include counseling, instructional support, priority registration and book vouchers, all at no cost to students.

Foster Youth Programs
NextUp (formerly known as CAFYES)
The NextUp program is a supplemental program of EOP&S. NextUp provides additional counseling and financial assistance to current and former foster youth.
Scholars Transitioning and Realizing Success (STARS)
The STARS program supports the educational goals of current and former foster care students, and assists students in achieving their academic and career goals.

CalWORKs
The California Work Opportunity & Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) program at Pasadena City College is here to support you and your family. As a low-income parent currently enrolled at PCC, the CalWORKs program will work with you to obtain educational and career opportunities. During this process, you will have access to our high-quality support services in order to help you reach your educational and career goals.
